Qualified candidates must show a keen interest in the financial services industry.  Relevant work or internship experience is strongly desirable. The program is based in Hong Kong, with placements in Hong Kong and Singapore.

How the program works and the day-to-day experience you can expect

The Private Wealth Management Summer Sales Analyst Program is eight weeks long and provides you with an in-depth look into PWM's products and capabilities as well as exposure to the institutional equities and fixed-income trading areas. The Program includes a balance of product classes, professional development classes, structured interaction with PWM senior managers and investment representatives as well as active involvement in both independent and team projects.

As a Summer Sales Analyst, you are given a unique opportunity to launch a full-time career in this business provided that you consistently perform well throughout your Summer Program.

With specific emphasis on sales skills, financial acumen and firm culture, the course highlights include:

• Introduction to Morgan Stanley and Private Wealth Management
• Introduction to the firm's platform, products and solutions
• Extensive instruction on the past and present state of the markets regionally and globally
• Exposure to management and professionals from different coverage areas throughout PWM and Morgan Stanley
• Participation in numerous learning and development sessions to further allow you to explore a career in PWM.
• Participation in a mentorship program which will allow a more guided opportunity to understand the industry

Qualifications

You should be entering the final year of your undergraduate degree after the Summer Program is completed. Fluency in English is required. Fluency in at least one Asian language, such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai, Tagalog or Bahasa, is also required.

Selection Process

Selected applicants will undergo a first round phone interview.  Selected applicants will be invited to interview at our offices for the final round of interviews. Interviews are conducted by senior managers, and may include former and current Sales Analyst Program participants.
