Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management (PWM), a division of Morgan Stanley, provides a range of investment and private banking services to ultra-high net worth individuals, families and related institutions in the United States, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Uniquely positioned to grow our business, we recognize the importance of Analyst programs to our future success. We take pride in placing Analysts in key business areas and integrating them completely into the wealth management groups. Analysts can find themselves in a variety of roles, including product groups and strategic functions, and we believe our commitment to retaining top talent and promoting career development makes our program unique. The experience may also include extensive orientation, mentorship opportunities, networking events, technical and business training, and exposure to Senior Management. The Analyst Program in Private Wealth Management The Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management Analyst Program is a competitive 36-month divisional rotational program which commences in early July, and consists of comprehensive, multi-disciplinary training designed to prepare analysts for a career in PWM. After completion of the training program, PWM analysts are placed into one of two specific tracks and work closely with product and trading specialists from across the firm to gain a thorough understanding of the uses and applications of sophisticated financial tools and the full range of both internal and external financial products. This formal and rigorous analyst program provides a transparent and consistent method for those new to the firm to learn about the ultra-high net worth market and PWM, while obtaining the skills necessary for career advancement. Developing Your Career High-performing analysts can anticipate placement in a variety of roles within the firm, including sales groups and product teams. Qualifications You should be completing the final year of your undergraduate degree by June, 2010. Fluency in English is required. Fluency in at least one Asian language, such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai, Tagalog or Bahasa, is also required. Selection Process Selected applicants will undergo a first round phone interview. Selected applicants will be invited to our offices for the final round of interviews. Interviews are conducted by senior managers, and may include former and current Analyst Program participants.
