To achieve these goals, we seek to attract and retain the most talented individuals from across the industry.  Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management is seeking eager, hardworking individuals to participate in the Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management Sales Analyst Program. Qualified candidates must show a keen interest in the financial services industry.  Relevant work or internship experience is strongly desirable. The program is based in Hong Kong, with placements in Hong Kong and Singapore.

How the program works and the day-to-day experience you can expect

The Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management Sales Analyst Program is a competitive 36-month program which commences in early July, and consists of comprehensive, multi-disciplinary training designed to prepare Sales Analysts for a career in PWM. 

This formal and rigorous Sales Analyst Program provides a transparent and consistent method for those new to the Firm to learn about the ultra-high net worth market, PWM and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, while obtaining the skills necessary for career advancement in sales.

With specific emphasis on sales skills, financial acumen and firm culture, the course highlights include: 

  • Introduction to Morgan Stanley and Private Wealth Management
  • Introduction to the firm's platform, products and solutions
  • Extensive instruction on the past and present state of the markets regionally and globally
  • Exposure to management and professionals from different coverage areas throughout PWM and Morgan Stanley
  • Participation in numerous learning and development sessions to further allow you to explore a career in PWM.
  • Participation in a mentorship program which will allow a more guided opportunity to understand the industry

Qualifications

You should be completing the final year of your undergraduate degree by June, 2011. Fluency in English is required. Fluency in at least one Asian language, such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai, Tagalog or Bahasa, is also required.

Selection Process

Selected applicants will undergo a first round phone interview.  Selected applicants will be invited to  our offices for the final round of interviews. Interviews are conducted by senior managers, and may include former and current Sales Analyst Program participants.
