Investment Banking - Japan

The Associate Program in Investment Banking

An overview of this program's objectives and how you can benefit

Our goal is to give our Investment Banking Associates a basic foundation so that they can have a successful career in Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Division. You will be working alongside senior-level decision-makers at some of the world's largest corporations or gaining experience in helping smaller, entrepreneurial firms that are primed for growth.

The challenge begins with understanding the client's goals, and extends to analyzing options, developing ideas, driving strategies and delivering advice that will shape the course of business.

You will interact with decision-makers who develop the ideas that ultimately reshape industries. Your projects may involve a merger, an IPO or financing a new venture. You may lead a competitive auction process to divest a business, identify potential strategic acquisition targets, organize a road show for potential investors in a major new equity offering, or advise your team on how to tackle a complex piece of analysis.

In all cases, IBD opens up opportunities for our clients- and for our Associates who are up to the challenge.
